Hi, I'm Frater Crow. My spiritual journey began in childhood, steeped in ritual and spiritual study. Over time, my curiosity grew. I explored world religions, mysticism, and magic, seeking the bridges between light and shadow.

Along this path, I met Natasha Michelle. She began as a friend, and as our work deepened, I became her mentor. Over years of study and practice, she became my High Priestess, and together we led. We founded the Coterie of Samil.

Through years of practice, we underwent many initiations. Most notably a 13 month Qliphothic journey. Ultimately, we formed Ecclesia Nocturna, a space where seekers of all paths can transform.

When you encounter my work, at a conference, a lecture, or a ritual, I want you to feel both welcomed and challenged. I teach that each person must walk their own path. Question everything, including us.

My approach integrates light and shadow, rigor and freedom. I share my journey not to provide answers but to spark your transformation.

At my core, I believe transformation happens through direct experience. Knowledge is only the start. True inner alchemy comes from engaging, applying, and evolving. I guide others toward that transformative fire. To inspire them to confront all aspects of themselves.

As I continue my evolution, I'm honored to walk beside you. Whether in a temple or a town hall, I invite you to embrace your journey, because the greatest work is never done

Natasha Michelle

My name is Natasha and my spiritual life started young with prayers in my mother's small temple space to statues of Mary and Jesus, hours at my grandmother's alcove altar exploring her treasures and books speaking to whoever I found there, and hours on my own in her garden, tree grove or my own backyard wooded area. My uncle used to write short stories about the adventures I had with my "imaginary friend" Yowie, who I suspect was not as imaginary as all assumed. I was raised Episcopalian, but attended Waldorf school as a child, receiving an early pagan influence there.

    My junior year of highschool, I received a book on Wicca by Scott Cunningham from my boyfriend. He was a self proclaimed Buddhist, and I still don't know what prompted the gift, but it caused my paths to begin to take form. I had an intense experience as I invoked "the Goddess", any Goddess. I believe it was my first interaction with Hekate. Before my senior year I had purchased my copy of LaVey's Satanic Bible from the back corner of my local bookstore. The LHP had the allure and pull of darkness so many find themselves initially being drawn to.

     In my 20's, my titles switched many times, my practice minimal celebrating moons and sabbats, mostly without true "form". I slipped from Wiccan, to Satanic, to Eclectic, back to Satanic multiple times through those years, finally realizing I could just say, Witch. In my 30's, things began to change. I sometimes say "the whispers started", as there was this inner knowing that seemed to be waking up. I was at an emotionally tumultuous time in my life, feeling both at a breaking point and precipice depending on the day. My practice, seemed to rejuvenate itself, all at once. I was reading more, practicing regularly not just seasonally, working with Spirits directly, and I began to build the shop and healing center I would run for 5 years. I also started working with my now best friend and co-founder, Frater Crow.

      They say that when the student is ready, the teacher appears. Crow and I had already been friends in the music scene, not the occult, and both of us were experiencing a shift in our practices, a heightening of energy and experience in that time frame. When we began working together my practice exploded from where it was, as did my relationship with the Spirits I worked with and my understanding. The concept of The Coterie of Samil, the original formation, began to come to life. From the Coterie, the Church was born - what you see now, Ecclesia Nocturna.

      I have explored many different paths of magick throughout the last 20+ years, but I have my home in what we have built here. A mix of Qliphothic Pathworkings, Vampirism, Necromancy, Mediumship, and Ritual Magick make up the basis of my work. My personal studies are expansive (probably too much so) including energy work, tantra, sex magick, Hekataeon sorcery, Quimbanda and a close relationship to Lilith. I was baptized into this Current and my life is dedicated to that mark, so while my interests will, I'm sure, continue to expand and grow, this church is my Work.

     I am happy that you found our space, whether it resonates or not, because it gives the opportunity to see something different in the occult world. Whatever you take away from it, make sure you always remember - "Question everything, including us." Especially in the world right now. They want you distracted and asleep. We want you to wake up - whatever that means for you.
